Information Security Analyst Intern

We are looking for an applicant currently enrolled in their Junior or Senior year in their degree with a great aptitude for learning, positive attitude, fantastic work ethics, strong communication skills, and flexible hours. Desired start date as soon as possible.
This position, currently, has remote capabilities but is subject to in-office hours, minimum of 10+ hours a week. 
 
Responsibilities and Duties:
  •   Build technical documentation and technical presentations.
  •    Leverage tech solutions to meet organizational needs.
  •    Ability to create system diagrams using tools such as Microsoft Visio.
  •   Technical Writing (Assist with the development of technical Standard Operating Procedures, system security documents, and test plans.)
  •    Read and understand the NIST Risk Management Framework
  •    Investigate security breaches and other cyber security incidents.
  •    Work with security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities.
  •    Other job duties as assigned
 
 
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, STEM, or related field, with a 3.0 GPA, or higher.
  •   Must be a team player with effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to interact with internal and external parties clearly and professionally.
  • Must be enrolled in college as full-time student.
  •  Proficiency in Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel etc.).
  • Understanding of business practices.
  •   At least 1 year of customer service experience
  •   Must be able to obtain a government security clearance.
