MERCHANDISING ASSOCIATE

           Tier 1 Sports is a unique apparel business specializing in printing quality customized apparel on-site at youth sporting tournaments. We operate out of both Tomahawk and Fond Du Lac Wisconsin, however; we service the entire state of Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. Our customization options go above and beyond what anyone would expect. We take pride in selling only the highest quality products along with the best customer service. Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old, very dependable, able to work weekends, and have excellent customer service skills.

Food and Lodging: Most events involve travel and staying in a hotel for the duration of the tournament. Tier 1 Sports books and pays for all hotel rooms. In addition, Tier 1 Sports has a food allowance.

Hours: All events take place on weekends, Friday – Sunday. Employees are required to work the full weekend. Summer events average between 32 and 37 hours. Winter events average between 23 and 28 hours.

Pay: Pay starts at $10.50 per hour plus a sales bonus for each event. Sales bonus calculated based upon total sales for the event and is divided equally among each employee working the event. After the sales bonus, sales associates typically earn between $11.50 and $12.50 per hour. 

Responsibility 1 – Order Taking

           Taking the order is the first and most important part of our production process. Associates are responsible for taking customers orders and providing excellent customer service. The customer is shown different garments and determines what style and size they would like. The associate then offers the customer different customization options to personalize the garment and documents this on an order form. It is important that order forms are filled out accurately to ensure a smooth production process. Associates then collect payment for the garment.

Responsibility 2 – Stocking and Organizing

           Associates are responsible for stocking merchandise and keeping the selling area clean and organized.

           All Sales Associates are also trained on how to use a heat press. Associates will rotate between operating the press and taking orders as needed.
