The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District is seeking applicants for Drill Rig Operator Positions in our Geology Section, Geotechnical Engineering and Sciences Branch.
 
As a driller you will drill borings for geotechnical or geologic investigations and studies for a wide variety of projects and programs to include military construction, infrastructure (e.g., dams and levees) and environmental restoration and compliance. Our Drilling Production Center consists of both field and project geologists, as well as three full-time drill crews. The drill crews conduct geotechnical borings for geotechnical sampling and instrument installation. Instruments include relief wells, piezometers, monitoring wells, and inclinometers.
