Accounting and Finance Student Co-op

Examples of hands-on experiences during your assignment with DTE include:
 
  •  Collect data and provide support in the preparation of financial reports. The use of Excel: Worksheets, Pivot Tables, and formulas are needed. 
  • Create project cost sheets detailing monthly forecasts for capital projects. Support the month-end close UBL process.
  • Pulls financial data from SAP and updates power BI dashboards on a weekly basis for use by BU partners for decision making. Prepare month-end financial reports for use by Financial Analysts and Business Unit.
  • Prepare refueling outage daily cost tracking reports and creating standard work instructions.
  • Prepare monthly off system and receipt point customer invoicing, prepare monthly supple pages, and scan journals. Complete assigned monthly account reconciliations in AssureNet.
