The Bay-Lake Regional Planning Commission is currently seeking a full-time Environmental Planner. This position will work closely with local communities and Bay-Lake RPC staff members to create planning documents for a variety of natural resource-related projects, including coastal resiliency, outdoor recreation, water trail, and restoration planning work. Much of the time will be spent in the office, with occasional field work and meeting attendance.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
• Knowledge of principles and practices of environmental planning;
• Experience with Adobe products such as Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop (preferred);
• Familiarity with GIS software programs and mobile field applications a plus; and
• Ability to collect, summarize and present data in a document format.

Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in environmental field and two or more years of experience in environmental planning or closely related field (preferred).

Compensation: Starting annual salary range of $46,538 to $62,190 with possible performance-based increases. Benefits package includes health, dental, life, and disability insurance; paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, and two personal days; and participation in the Wisconsin State Retirement System.
