Corporate Accountant

POSITION SUMMARY: 
The Corporate Accountant position is responsible for entering, coding, and processing payables.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:                           
  1. Perform all Accounts Payable functions for the Development Company, Non-Profit Companies, and Personal Accounting Ledgers.
  2. Enter Invoices and review coding
  3. Process Checks
  4. Distribute checks for signatures
  5. Mail Checks
  6. Scan Invoices
  7. Reconcile vendor accounts
  8. Add the check run to DDA checkbook
  9. Ensure recurring payables are processed correctly
  10. Enterprise Payables
  11. Legal Payables
  12. IT Payables
  13. Administrative tasks as assigned including but not limited to:
  14. Scanning invoices into software
  15. Scanning corporate deposits
  16. Other/Ad Hoc
  17. Other projects as requested
  18. Customer Service - respond to all inquiries from customers (internal & external)
  19. Timely and regular attendance.
  20. Other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Training, and Experience): 
  • Education – High School diploma and 2 years Accounting Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Communication Skills – Good verbal and written
  • Mathematical Skills – Ability to compile information and calculate basic math mathematical results accurately.
  • Computer Skills – Good Office skills. Accounting software experience preferred.
  • Reasoning – Good problem-solving skills are required
