This is a virtual, remote, unpaid internship that could lead to additional opportunities within the company. Perfect for a college student or young professional who is looking to gain knowledge in the editorial and writing field and building a foundation for their career. This position may qualify for school credit if your educational institution approves.
Responsibilities include:
As an Editorial Intern, you will...
- Write, edit, and review weekly blog posts regarding adoption and/or gestational surrogacy
- Work on special writing projects and challenges as needed
- Research digital marketing techniques
- Have the opportunity to network with industry professionals
- Implement SEO and keywords into your blog posts
Qualifications:
- Be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications or industry-related field
- Experience with using Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Docs
- Have strong writing and editing skills
- Have a passion for helping others
- Previous blog writing experience is a huge plus
- Interest in the adoption and gestational surrogacy fields is preferred, but not required
