Annuity Sales Support Specialist

Work productively together with the AMS internal and external wholesalers, Regional Vice Presidents, and Business Relationship Managers to effectively service and support AMS business. Assist wholesalers in developing new business opportunities while fostering existing relationships to better service client needs and drive business results.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming sales desk calls from clients, agents and their staff, and provide prompt, accurate responses to inquiries
  • Assists Internal Wholesaler to research, create, and assemble product information and illustrations
  • Compile appropriate and accurate illustrations based on the discussion with the wholesaler and knowledge of the competitive insurance environment. Ensure all illustrations are quality checked prior to sending
  • Provide sales support tools as well as sales and marketing ideas on AMS’s product offerings to wholesales, agents, and clients
  • Deliver dedicated sales support and service through proactive engagement
  • Demonstrate excellent listening skills to better assess a wholesalers needs and determine the type of sales support necessary to accomplish the objective and add value to the products
  • Handle special projects as assigned
 
Qualifications
  • 1+ year experience within the annuity/life insurance industry preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, initiative, dependability, and a high level of motivation.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
