Digital Media Coordinator

Local 4 News – WHBF TV, a CBS Affiliate, seeks a Digital Media Coordinator to serve as part of our Digital News team.
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
-         Responsible for the design and creation of digital and social media advertising assets for our client base
-         Participate in the design, creation and implementation of digital and social media assets for our television station properties
-         Contribute to the development of promotion and marketing strategies for our television station properties
-         Create and manage promotion/marketing/public service content on our website
-         Help brainstorm other creative ideas for internal and external projects of the creative services department including news, promotion and commercial production
-         Other duties in the Creative Services area as assigned
 
Requirement & Skills
-         Fluency in English – Excellent communication skills, both oral and written – Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment – Strong PC/MS Office experience – Digital experience with web CMS platforms – Experience with Social Media platforms including Facebook and Instagram – Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously – Self-Motivated.
 
Physical Demands & Work Environment
The Digital Media Coordinator must be able to stand, sit, reach, climb, conduct telephone conversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups, make decisions without supervision, make decisions that impact the results of co-workers, work in close proximity to others and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions. In addition, the Digital Media Specialist must be able to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls. Repetitive movements are required. Work may be conducted in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions.
