Position Responsibilities
- Analyze information to prepare journal entries and financial statements.
- Investigate and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries and reports.
- Research variances, making corrections as needed.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare year-end audit schedules and address auditor requests.
- Record and maintain fixed asset activity, participate in fixed asset audits.
- Pursue efficiencies and process improvements.
- Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA preferred.
- 0 - 1+ years accounting experience preferred.
- Proficient in Excel, Access or SQL preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and possess high attention to detail.
