General Summary: 
Responsible for recruiting all levels of positions through in-depth analysis of job skills and qualifications. The recruiter will ensure the assigned business unit is staffed appropriately to meet operational goals. This position will also partner with HR and Leadership to support the establishment, maintenance and enhancement of learning development activities in order to exceed business objectives across the company.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
 
Recruiting Duties and Responsibilities:
1.    Partners with hiring managers to identify, evaluate required duties and responsibilities, knowledge, hard and soft skills and abilities regarding job requirements.
2.    Partners with hiring manager providing consultative and advisory recruiting strategy including market trends, candidate assessments, candidate challenges, time lines, interview schedules/conflicts, etc.).
3.    Provides continuous networking with internal and external sources to identify potential candidates.
4.    Reviews/analyzes resumes and/or applications, interviews (via phone and/or one-on-one), identifies candidates meet requirements, schedules candidates for interviews with hiring managers, assist hiring managers in selecting candidates for hire, conducts reference and background checks.
5.    Consults/advises hiring manager(s), Supervisor, Human Resources, and Candidates regularly on the status of the open position.
6.    Acts as liaison with employment agencies. Tasks will include assigning new hire contingents to appropriate temporary hiring agencies and provide on-boarding information for hiring agency.
7.    Travels and participates in college recruitment, job fairs, and other recruiting initiatives.

Talent Development Duties and Responsibilities: 
1.    Assign and track courses in company Learning Management Systems (LMS).
2.    Support external vendor relationships.
3.    Coordinate with other Honda companies to identify available organizational development programs and resources applicable to company's needs.

Education, Work Experience, Certification and/or Licensure: 
1.    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other related field preferred.
2.    Internship experience in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources highly preferred.
3.    Eager to learn applicant tracking systems, specifically TALEO and Learning Management Systems.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1.    Excellent oral and written communication skills.
2.    Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail.
3.    Detail oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
4.    Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships with hiring managers.
5.   Software proficiency Microsoft Office Products, Lotus Notes, etc.
6.   Familiarity with employment policies and procedures and federal and state laws regarding employment practices required.

Physical Requirements: 
1.    Incumbents may be routinely exposed to equipment operational noise heat-cold-dust, and/or aircraft equipment, parts, or fuel odors.
2.    Incumbents may be required to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, climb ladders, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged time periods with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
3.    Work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements (FAA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, State, and Federal regulations, etc.).
4.    Read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
5.    Comprehend and adhere to management directions and/or safety instructions with no restrictions.
6.    Effectively communicate in Business English language.
7.    Pull, push, carry, lift, or move items up to 10 lbs. throughout the work shift without assistance, as required by job duties.
8.    Pull, push, carry, lift or move materials/people/items/equipment weighing up to 50lbs or more during the work shift, with the use of Company provided “reach assistance technology” or “movement assist technology” (fork-lifts, pallet jacks, pulleys, dolly’s, robotics reach equipment, people movers etc.), as required by job duties.
