Social Media and Influencer Marketing Intern

# What is the role?
The Social Media and Influencer Marketing Intern will assist the team with developing and executing influencer marketing strategies and creative campaigns. 
 
Responsibilities will be across various social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Tumblr (and other emerging platforms).

Essential Responsibilities You’ll Own
  • Identify and build relationships with prominent influencers and thought leaders 
  • Develop content ideas and write and curate social content
  • Research relevant industry experts, competitors, target audiences and users
  • Brainstorm new, creative approaches to influencer campaigns
  • Identify and report on emerging trends, technologies and influencers
  • Support the team to create and coordinate marketing strategies that work across different channels
  • Ability to work at least 10-15 hours per week

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a four-year college/university or recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in digital communications or related field such as advertising or journalism 
  • Experience with major social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.
  • Process oriented, with the ability to juggle many tasks at one time. Time management skills are critical 
  • Excellent writing and communication skills 
  • Experience with content management systems, word processor application
  • Experience with image/video editing software preferred, but not required
  • Copywriting skills
  • Editing skills preferred, but not required
