Mater Academy-Bonanza Campus 1st Grade and 5th Grade

Our K-8 public charter school, Mater Academy, is one school that makes up a large network of schools in Florida, Nevada, and elsewhere. We currently are looking for a 1st grade and 5th grade teacher. We are looking for energetic, passionate, and committed teachers who want to make a huge difference in the lives of our students. Our campus is situated in the east side of the Las Vegas valley. Our school is very diverse, and we pride ourselves on creating an atmosphere that feels like family. Each grade level/subject has board-approved curriculum that will need to be implemented along with the use of the Nevada Academic Content Standards.

Some of the typical duties of any teacher at our school will include: collaboration, lesson planning, teaching, grading, communication with families, attendance, record keeping, IEP meetings, grade level meetings, PLC meetings, staff meetings, duty, extracurricular events, field trips, Open House, Meet & Greet, Parent-Teacher conferences, fundraisers, etc...
