Junior Software Engineer- Tactical and Enterprise Computing

ARA is looking for Junior Software Engineers to join our expanding team in Raleigh, NC. We are looking for multiple developers to support projects in the areas of tactical and enterprise computing. You will be a key member of a team that is developing and integrating technologies to support real-world operations for the Department of Defense.

As a Junior Software Engineer with ARA you will:
  • Play a significant role in building complex software systems.
  • Have opportunities to lead software development tasks and contribute across the entire technology stack, from front-end user interfaces to back-end systems and all points in between.

Junior Software Engineer Requirements:
  • BS in Computer Science or related field with 0 – 2 years of experience with Java.
  • Familiar with best practices for software development, including coding standards, code reviews, version control, build processes, and testing.
  • US citizen with an active DoD Security Clearance or eligible to obtain one (selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements at the time of employment).
