Occupational Therapist - 0.5FTE, Day Shift

The Occupational Therapist is responsible to provide direct patient care, including evaluation, treatment plan development and delivery of treatment. The Occupational Therapist Level I must have primary emphasis in outpatient Neuro but will treat patients outside their primary area when the departments needs warrant and the core/basic competencies in the alternative area have been demonstrated. The Occupational Therapist Level I is actively involved in continuous improvement of services in response to customer needs and expectations. They may provide supervision and training for COTA's, Level I and II OT and OTA interns and affiliates and provide supervision and direction to aides in support of patient care.

Requirements Include:
~Satisfactory completion of Occupational Therapy degree and required clinical work as required by the university attended.
~Currently licensed by the State of Wisconsin Affiliated Credentialing Board of the Department of Licensing and Regulation.
~NBCOT Certified as a registered Occupational Therapist required.
~Ability to independently assess and treat patients within a specialty area.

Preferred Qualifications include:
~Experience treating neurologically involved outpatients such as CVA, TBI, and concussions
~Familiarity with Epic documentation
~Experience with Mobility Assessment Equipment Evaluations and/or driving evaluations

Hours (days/times):
Monday          8:00am - 6:30pm
Wednesday    7:00am - 5:30pm
