Sales Operations Associate - New York or Chicago

Axiom is seeking a highly capable and analytically skilled Sales Operations Associate to be based either in our New York or Chicago office (with some home/ remote working by arrangement).

The Sales Operations Associate will have a high-level of analytical skill, with the ability to understand data and the story it tells, and then present those findings in a clear and impactful way to internal stakeholders.

The Sales Operations Associate will be responsible for:
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making.
  • Sales performance analysis, including pipeline analytics, individual and team seller productivity, and identification of performance improvement opportunities from analysis.
  • Produce regular performance reports for cadenced meetings and communications – e.g. monthly performance email, Executive Leadership Team meetings, Board meetings etc.
  • Manage sales and business process and systems improvements, bridging gap between Sales, Enablement, Operations, and IT
  • Provide analytical support to the commercial and Executive Leadership team as needed.
  • Handle day-to-day inquiries from the commercial team, providing prompt and efficient resolutions.
  • Serve as data steward. Continuously monitor data in Axiom’s CRM (Salesforce) and other systems to ensure its quality and accuracy. Conduct root cause analyses on failures of data integrity, then develop and implement scalable processes for improving data governance.
  • Work closely with our CRM team to further improve the CRM and provide better functionality for the wider sales team and visibility for the reporting requirements of the commercial team.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a quantitative role, such as sales operations or financial planning and analysis
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including financial modeling in Excel
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, geographically distributed, matrix-organized environment
  • Superb problem-solving abilities, time management, judgment, and attention to detail
  • Organizational fit for the Axiom culture and our core values of Irresistible, Fresh, Thoughtful and Committed
  • Experience with Salesforce and Tableau advantageous but not essential

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree required
