Roquette America, located in Keokuk Iowa, is seeking a Human Resource Summer Intern to work Monday thru Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. The Human Resources intern will support HR daily functions and assist with special projects. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and excited to learn the various aspects of human resources support.
This position is located in Keokuk, Iowa.
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
· Updating company databases by inputting labor relations data
· Responding to staff inquiries regarding HR policies and other HR-related matters
· Assist Labor Relations Manager in new hire orientation
· Create templates and process flows aligning with contractual requirements
· Assist with the bidding and bumping process
· Collect and analyze labor relations data to create HR reports
· Attend the Joint Labor Relations Committee and transcribe notes
· Maintain a professional relationship with HR customers
Knowledge and Skills
· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and excellent customer service skills.
· Advanced computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Proven ability to effectively multi-task.
· Self-motivation and ability to work independently prioritize and meet deadlines
· Strong Attention to detail
· Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or other related degrees
· Possess a high level of integrity and sensitivity to confidential information
