Marketing Intern
Job Duties (flexible to where the intern would like to gain relevant knowledge, skills and experience)
● Work with Marketing Manager to create and manage a consistent client-base for the business to include creating an effective overall marketing strategy that results in a consist client-base for the company, demonstrated through month-over-month revenue generation
● Responsible for the daily upkeep of Social Media accounts with opportunity to provide advice and recommendations to CEO on best social media channels to leverage
● Works mostly with Marketing Manager with opportunity to work directly with CEO to teach best practices for effective marketing
● Autonomously draft, create and promote relevant content to be used for marketing purposes; ensures content represents a professional image that is designed to create a positive and engaging image for the business
● Other adhoc marketing duties as requested by Marketing Manager and CEO
Preferred Knowledge and Experience:
● Social media expertise to include effectively being able to share and engage on appropriate networks with the intent to drive sales for the business
● Experience in website design (WordPress) effectively being able to leverage SEO and other website tools to ensure effective traction is gained online
● Experience in graphic arts tools and media (Canva, or other related marketing tools to create marketing items)
● Content writing ability demonstrating the highest level of integrity for the best interest of clients
● Demonstrated ability to effectively drive sales of a business to include creating a consistent client-base
● Strong use of the English language to include keen attention to detail including effective use of grammar
● Proven ability to effectively research relevant topic areas in order to write relevant content that will be reviewed prior to posting
● Strong communication skills both orally and in writing
● Preferred: Professional experience working in Agile/Lean Six Sigma and/or certification in Agile/Lean Six Sigma
● Preferred: College degree in communications, marketing, business, technology, or related field
● Preferred: Multilingual candidates, as this business operates globally
