Environmental Compliance Specialist

Environmental Compliance Specialist
EnviroNET, Inc. is seeking candidates with two years or more environmental experience to perform field sampling and prepare written summary reports as may be necessary for investigations, inspections and observations at regulated industrial, commercial and residential facilities. 
Ideal candidate:
·        Must be capable to lift 30 pounds of materials or equipment from time to time when mobilizing for field work.
·        Must be capable and willing to work outside with proper weather gear, and work behind a desk.
·        Must be able to read and comprehend local, state and federal regulations as they apply to a specific project.
·        Proficient at Microsoft products, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and Acrobat.   
·        Basic understanding of federal framework and regulations governing environmental compliance, including SWPPP, SPCC, TIER II, AER, MSEI, TRI, Opacity, RCRA, CERCLA, Oil Pollution Act, NESHAPS, CAA, CWA, EPCRA, Phase I & II ESAs and due diligence standards available through ASTM.
·        Certifications and licenses specific to environmental work: hazardous waste operator training, asbestos, lead, mold, air sampling, data digestion, stormwater sampling professional and AutoCAD mapping experience.
The key responsibilities:
  • Perform investigations, collect samples, process data, evaluate and interpret chemical, geographical, geological and hydrogeological findings.
  • Prepare site summaries, boring logs, maps, and support documentation for site managers.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, surveyors, subcontractors, and other field staff to complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Behave professionally and adhere to a standard of ethics.
  • Support fellow team members.
  • Attend training sessions and acquire additional certifications as indicated by market trends, regulatory shifts, and team requirements.
