Strategic Projects Manager (Analyst III)

The City of Portland is working to make systemic change to public safety, transitioning to a more modern and responsive community safety system. To help lead this effort, the Office of Management and Finance’s newly formed Division of Community Safety is seeking a Strategic Projects Manager to manage projects related to the community safety transition. 
 
Reporting to the City’s Community Safety Transition Director, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing complex community safety projects, supporting decision makers regarding funding and policy decisions, and coordinating deliverables across the Portland Bureau of Emergency Communications, Portland Bureau of Emergency management, Portland Fire & Rescue, and the Portland Police Bureau. The ideal candidate has a passion for equitable safety and emergency response solutions, and a drive to support community and government working together to make meaningful change.
