Marketing & Social Media Intern

Position Description
Social Media Intern(s) will work directly with PAVE’s Outreach Director, Community Engagement Coordinator, and Chief Operating Officer. Professionals or college students with a Graphic Design, Art, Marketing, Social Media, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Gender Studies, English background or an interest in the issue of sexual violence are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Create a monthly digital marketing & social media content calendar that aligns with overall marketing initiatives and goals
  • Work with brand to create and implement social media strategies weekly
  • Help coordinate and facilitate Instagram Lives
  • Collaborate with the Outreach Director and fellow interns to manage social media influencer relationships including coordination of campaigns
  • Works with the Outreach Director to develop campaign assets (e.g. photo, video, graphics)
  • Provide creative art direction and participate in ideation for graphic design projects, ensuring alignment to brand guidelines and social media best practices
  • Works with the Chief Operating Officer on website development


This is a remote, unpaid, part-time position and requires a minimum of 10 hours per week. If the intern is enrolled in school, PAVE will work with the student and university to ensure college credit is given to the student for their internship.
