- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License

- Previous teaching experience

- Knowledge of current strategies and research developmentally appropriate    practices

  for intermediate students

- Ability to assess the learning of students and modify or enhance instruction as needed

-Ability to analyze various forms of data and use the information to make instructional

  decisions

- Knowledge and experience with teaching students with a variety of abilities, learning

            styles, and social-emotional needs
