(VIRTUAL) General Marketing (Part-Time) Intern at Textmate (Lazy Texts, LLC) for Fall 2021
Textmate has partnered with Canvas to bring students a text messaging service that acts as a student's personal organizational assistant and eases the stress of keeping track of school assignments and responsibilities. This service is currently available at no cost to students at Nova Southeastern University, University of Central Florida, Florida Atlantic University and Tulane University.
Textmate is looking for (2) virtual general marketing interns for the Fall 2021 semester starting August 9, 2021 and ending December 3, 2021. This unpaid, part-time internship (10-15 hours per week) is a great opportunity to learn and grow with an emerging technology company located in South Florida. Key internship responsibilities include communicating with schools through email and phone calls, creating and utilizing spreadsheets, curating posts on social media, and conducting marketing research for our company. Textmate is looking for candidates who are creative, innovative, and diligent. All responsibilities for this internship position will be able to be completed remotely.

By subscribing to our patent-pending service, Textmate users receive a daily customizable text that organizes your assignments, due dates, commitments, and appointments. In essence, Textmate acts as a student's personal organizational assistant that eases the stress of keeping track of school assignments and responsibilities.
The idea came to fruition when Charlie created a program for himself to organize his own assignments. Shortly after that, the word spread, and Charlie was inundated with requests from students wanting to receive these same daily texts just like the ones he had created for himself. The Beta Trial confirmed that this is something students want and need. In just one month, students reported that because of Textmate, they knew about due dates, assignments, quizzes, and exams that they felt they may have otherwise missed.
