Quality Assurance Engineer - Integrated Design, Inc. - remotely or in Ann Arbor, MI

Integrated Design, Inc. (IDI) seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team. Applicants have their choice of working in office in Ann Arbor, Michigan or remotely.

This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer; no sponsorship is available. Successful candidates will be required to undergo a thorough background check, credit check and drug screen.

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS: $60,000 – $80,000 annually based on your knowledge and experience. In addition, the position offers a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, prescription drug, flexible spending account, 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays, paid vacation and paid sick time.

RESPONSIBILITIES.
  • Collaborate with the development team to estimate and write test cases and test plans.
  • Execute test plans for features and releases.
  • Clearly document issues and steps to reproduce them.
  • Track and report on product quality metrics.
  • Review and confirm bugs reported by internal teams.
  • Update release notes for internal and external consumption.
  • Continuously improve the processes and procedures governing quality assurance by maintaining standards of expectation for usability, reliability and performance, and maintaining process flow diagrams.
  • Coordinate with other internal teams and testers to facilitate validation of custom features; train testers on processes and best practices.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THE QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER POSITION HAS:
