Website Marketing Fall Internship

Who & What:
Dive into digital marketing and learn the four competencies of website marketing: Design, Content, SEO, and Analytics. You will be given access to our website where you will apply what you learn. At the same time, you will be assigned to a team to work on a project throughout the semester. We want you to challenge yourself and learn beyond what you know, think outside the box, and create your own tasks within the job scope.

After training, there will be two main assignments to report every week: 1) Study from WeCare's and secondary educational resources; 2) Designated task from the previous meeting. We are looking for internet marketing majors and those who are pursuing a career in internet marketing. People that are go-getters, creative, self-driven, entrepreneurial, and always trying to learn are perfect for this position.

When & Where:
Both full-time and part-time hours are available. We expect 10 hours per week. After that, we are flexible to fulfill school requirements. There will be at least one meeting a week with the supervisor. At the beginning of the semester, interns will be given an internship handbook to learn from and use as a resource throughout the internship. We will also have an orientation meeting going over expectations and teaching how interns can fulfill their position. Interns may work together to complete assignments/projects. This is a remote-based internship which means that meetings and work will have no definitive location or office hours. Meetings will be scheduled to fit everyone's schedule. We will use Discord for communication and video calls.

This is an educational focused unpaid internship. Our learning objectives is for interns to have a core understanding of digital marketing principles. By the end of the internship, interns will be running website marketing for a small business and know how to make marketing decisions in their careers. Note: Interns will need to learn WordPress.
