Social Change Advocacy

Summary
 
Resilience, Inc., a non-profit organization, works to improve mental health, reduce mass shootings, suicide, depression, declining test scores, low student engagement, and a slew of other social issues.  
 
The organization focuses on offering Social Emotional Learning tools to enable K-12 schools to teach emotional intelligence through 5 core topics; self-awareness, self-control, social awareness, relationship management, goal setting & effective decision-making. Resilience also provides tools for acquiring and maintaining inspiration, hope, social beings, and overall well-being.  
 
Our mission is to set SEL tools at every school in the country. It is a tough challenge, but we know “No Challenge, No Change.” If you also concern about children’s mental health and social being. Join us! Be a member of Resilience, Inc.
 
The organization is looking for Social Change Advocacy and offers internship programs Suppose you are also concerned about children’s mental health and want to learn more about the SEL program. Join us! Be a member of Resilience, Inc. 

Daily Expectation
  • Report to the Director of Outreach.
  • Working with multiple partners to manage complex, multi-social media and country-wide social change initiatives
  • Developing and managing brand of organization in the field of social-emotional learning.
  • Conducting innovative research to understand our main topic of social-emotional learning curriculum,
  • Keeping eyes on opportunities for relevant, positive social change.
  • Understanding the view of potential customers and our targeted population (K-12 children)
  • Monitoring and Evaluating Advocacy and initiative.

Requirement
  • No professional experience is needed, just your passion for research 
  • Work independently.
  • Ability to work on a team can attend weekly remote meetings.
  • Reliable and punctual. 
  • Pay attention to details.
  • Consistently communicate with team members.
  • Have an eagerness to learn and an open mind to improve critical skills. 
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Objective learning.
  • 5-10 hours per week with flexibility during finals week.

Some educational institutions require prior approval before the start of an internship. It is the responsibility of the student to check with their institution to be sure they meet any requirements before they accept a position.
