Equitable Development Analyst (Analyst II)

The Bureau of Planning and Sustainability (BPS) is seeking an Equitable Development Analyst (Analyst II).
 
Within BPS, the position is a resource on current national and international best practices for equitable real estate development. The position provides support to city planning, housing, community/economic development, transportation professionals. The position helps operationalize the Portland Plan Equity Framework and the equity-related policies in the 2035 Comprehensive Plan. The position works on projects with a focus on advancing racial justice and equitable development by designing, leading or staffing multi-agency project teams with public agencies and community organizations. With a high degree of autonomy and self-direction, this position develops and manages complex project budgets, negotiates and drafts contracts and intergovernmental and inter-agency agreements, monitors contract compliance, and oversees and reviews work of project staff and consultants.
