Multimedia Production Specialist Intern

Summary
The Federal Robotics Process Automation Community of Practice is seeking a Multimedia Production Intern to promote the community's knowledge-sharing events, upcoming publications, federal program updates, & other relevant news to the community members by creating a variety of innovative media.

Description
The Federal RPA Community of Practice (CoP) is a community within GSA’s OCFO (Office of the Chief Financial Officer) consisting of 1200+ members from over 65 federal agencies. The mission of the RPA CoP is to accelerate the adoption of RPA technology across the federal government. As such, the CoP helps facilitate the emergence of more RPA programs in government and the maturation of existing RPA programs to deliver value across the federal government.

As a Multimedia Production Specialist with the RPA Community of Practice, you will collaborate with a team of talented and innovative individuals to design and build impactful media, including videos, newsletters, graphics, training guides, websites, and more. You will have the opportunity to hone your multimedia production skills, test new tools and processes, design and build web pages, write compelling content, and contribute to large communications efforts.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with the RPA Community of Practice
team to produce audio and video elements
applying expertise in the latest digital audio
methods and techniques.
-Produce digital material on webinars, virtual
conferences, and events featuring RPA Subject
Matter Experts.
-Perform in a collaborative environment,
participating and contributing throughout all
stages of the digital media storytelling process
-Monitor and analyze viewership for released videos
in Excel to identify viewership trends
-Edit short-form videos, conceptualize visual ideas
and produce creative and compelling content that
supports the program
-Motion Graphics work to supplement edits
-Engage with the publications team to release and
promote developed material, following the
established procedures.

Basic Qualifications:
-Self-starter and detail-oriented individual enrolled
in an arts/video-focused program with strong
communication, critical-thinking, interpersonal
and organizational skills
-Proficient in Adobe Premiere or Apple Movie is
required; After Effects is a plus
-Ability to summarize large amounts of information
in a cohesive and timely manner
-Ability to multitask and hit numerous deadlines
simultaneously
-Capable in navigating Google Suite (Drive, Docs,
Slides, Sheets, and Calendar)
-Experience with logging and editing raw footage for
for social, GIFs and on-site films
