Associate Veterinarian Externship availability

Westonka Animal Hospital located in Mound; MN is excited to announce our opening for an Associate Veterinarian or externship to become part of our small animal veterinary hospital. If you are a veterinarian or veterinarian student who is interested in working with an AAHA accredited hospital we are the right fit for you.

We practice true team management where all team members have input and responsibilities, we are committed to professional excellence, and want to see you grow personally. With a steady stream of new and established patients, every day is full of pets that require the special skills that you possess, and we will take the time to offer mentorship to help you succeed. Our hospital features ultrasound equipment, high speed dental equipment, a laser surgical unit, telemedicine, and our long-term experienced staff.

We are looking for our veterinarian to be confident, flexible to the demands of a general practice needs, and whose motivation is to help people take the best possible care of their pets. They must have a solid work ethic, a desire to continue to learn and grow, and the ability to listen to our clients’ needs and communicate our plans for their pet’s care. Have an interest in surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine.
