Affordable Housing and Houselessness Policy Manager - Office of Mayor Ted Wheeler

The office of Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler is seeking interested applicants to serve as a Policy Manager (Commissioner's Staff Rep) on affordable housing and houselessness issues for the Mayor and join a hardworking, diverse, and talented staff team. 

This position is part of the Mayor’s Strategic Innovations Group (SIG) and reports to the Director of the SIG. This position provides advice to the mayor and his team on affordable housing and houselessness issues matters, with a near-term emphasis on local houselessness issues. Broad knowledge of local communities, and of the City of Portland, are a must. Sophisticated professional judgment and the ability to facilitate complex processes to successful outcomes are expected.
