Position Title: Special Education Teacher, EBD

Primary Location: Washington-Kosciusko Elementary School

Assignment Specifications: 1.0fte; 184 days

Exempt Status: Exempt

Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Building Principal, the licensed teacher is responsible for delivering and instructing students in instructional material; evaluating and assessing student progress against instructional outcomes and objectives; monitoring and evaluating student behavior; completing due process paperwork; participating in individual education plan meetings with colleagues and parents; participating and collaborating with other instructional professionals, administrators, parents, counselors, and other district personnel concerning student needs, issues and district learning initiatives, curriculum, and building issues.

Qualifications: Qualified candidates will hold, or be eligible to hold, an Emotional Behavior Disorders or Academic Behavior Strategist license issued by the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board.
