Marketing Intern

Position Description/Major Responsibilities
The planning and execution of marketing programs and campaigns in support of sales activities. The team is geographically dispersed across four states and operates in a virtual manner to deliver both corporate and local marketing programs. The overall objective is to drive business success within the numerous product areas Splashlight offers.

This role is very hands-on, as well as diverse. It requires flexibility, enthusiasm and commitment but rewards with a varied, interesting range of activities and tasks, in a dynamic organization which will enhance and develop key skills and provide solid experience that will be valuable to a range of future career directions.

The successful candidate will be involved in
The support of day-to-day marketing activities of the Splashlight organization, including an active role in planning and executing events, digital and social media campaigns, market research, data management/segmentation and associated admin/reporting in support of both corporate and local programs.

Specific Responsibilities And Activities Will Include
·        Providing marketing support to multiple team members across Splashlight
·        Coordinating and managing both events and campaigns
·        Supporting our digital marketing strategy
·        Keeping an active presence for the company on Social Media
·        Development and distribution of monthly news letters

Suitable applicants will need the following qualifications, experience and skills
·        Currently enrolled and attending university for Marketing or Business studies, or a recent graduate
·         Organized with a strong attention to detail
·        Strong interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all levels of people across the company
·        Effective time management skills – ability to work on multiple projects at a time, and have a flexible attitude towards changing priorities
·        Social Media advocate
·        Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
·        Desired (but not essential) knowledge of Adobe Suite, Mail Chimp or Pipedrive

In addition, suitable applicants should have the following
