Marketing Intern
Internship Start Date: Ideally around August 16, 2021 - December 17, 2021
Schedule: 20 hours/week minimum
Position Summary
Myriad Advisor Solutions is actively searching for an enthusiastic Marketing Associate Intern to support our Marketing department with primary and administrative duties. The Marketing Associate Intern will: Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities; support the marketing team in organizing various projects, and conduct market research.
As a Marketing Associate Intern, you will collaborate with our internal teams and directly engage with all stages of marketing campaigns and initiatives. This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies.
Essential Functions:
- Support the Marketing team in the maintenance of websites
- Review, monitor and update compliance requests and edits
- Support research for social media audits
- Participate and collaborate in the development of templated websites
- Research unusual bugs or issues with various platforms used
- Assist in organizing marketing campaigns and developing marketing strategies
- Communicate directly with clients and encourage/build trusting relationships
- Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- College student majoring in Marketing, Communication, Business, or related field
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and experience in creating marketing campaigns
- Understanding and awareness of various marketing techniques
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with marketing software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, Google Analytics)
- Passion for the marketing industry and best practices
- Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Community and/or campus involvement encouraged
