The Wilderness Hotel & Resort is seeking a full-time HVAC Service Technician to join our fast paced team. Duties include but are not limited too: servicing and repairing related activities on equipment associated with heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and food service. This will include scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs on refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
Responsibilities include:
Troubleshooting and repairing of HVAC components and parts.
Performing services and repair work on commercial heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems. Including but limited to boilers, ptac’s, hot water systems, heat-pumps, DX systems, heat exchangers, walk-in freezers and coolers, and other related equipment.
Performing routing maintenance on heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems.
Assisting and training additional maintenance staff in the HVAC field.
Maintaining logs and spreadsheets on service work and parts.
Developing a parts inventory for essential repair parts.
Monitoring building automation systems and alarms.
Maintaining certifications and training.
Building and maintaining a good solid work relations with various departments.
Training & Education:
Full understanding of HVAC systems, operation and maintenance requirements.
Minimum of an Associate’s Degree or experience in the HVAC field.
EPA certified in refrigerant recovery required.
