Software Tester
Clango is seeking an entry-level software tester to join our team of software QA specialists. Our software testers work to ensure a high level of quality in our web applications and software services. They assist in validating elements in the entire software development life cycle from requirements, design, and development through implementation, security, operations, and maintenance. They must become experts in our clients’ business requirements so as to proactively assist in creating, implementing, and maintaining excellent software solutions.
The position is based in Johnstown, PA, but collaborates with distributed teams in the US.
The candidate will design, conduct, and report on manual and automated testing, develop test plans and scripts, report on test results, and collaborate with development teams and business analysts to define requirements and confirm functionality. They will help ensure quality and proper functionality both for newly requested product enhancements, as well as for routine maintenance and bug fixes. The candidate will assist developers with functional testing, and will lead the efforts for test planning, regression testing, smoke testing, and test case management. They will also assist clients with User Acceptance and UI/UX testing, Section 508 and Web Accessibility, and web application security.
