Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain highest level of confidentiality, customer service and professionalism to promote a positive image of the company

Support project research and development for Farmers Union Industries and Farmers Union Enterprises (ownership group)

Lead projects to ensure alignment of organization’s strategic/operational targets, and overall business objectives 

Lead projects to complete on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency

Outline tasks involved in the project and align resources, accordingly

Conduct cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project

Prepare and implement a budget based on estimate

Conduct risk assessments; report identified risks to management; provide recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project, if appropriate)

Address questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project

Act as liaison between company, customers, and vendors

Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; develop alternative solutions

Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and industry regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices

Qualifications

BS degree in Business Management, Engineering or related field, preferred

5+ years of experience in Project Management, or related field

Project management certification, highly desirable

Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills

Ability to read and understand blueprints

Ability to manage resources according to changing needs

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management Software and/or related software

Experience in an agriculture manufacturing environment a plus

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Travel up to 20%, based on project location and needs
