The program affords the opportunity for associates to further develop and refine technical and business skills, as well as leadership competencies aligned to the goal of developing well-rounded Technology professionals. As TECDP associates begin to shape their career paths through their program experiences, they are supported by their TECDP class program manager, assigned role manager, their program “buddy”, co-workers, peers and technical mentors.

Associates will have the opportunity to develop in-demand technology and business skills throughout their program experience. The TECDP framework allows for participation in rotations throughout the program. Associates are able to focus on the development of generalist competencies, technical competencies, or a combination of the two throughout the 3 – 3.5 year program. The TECDP’s formalized training structure is comprised of technical and non-technical skills training, networking opportunities, formal mentoring and exposure to a breadth of Cigna technologies.
