Responsibilities:
We are looking for an analytical individual who has demonstrated understanding of actuarial and statistical concepts. The Actuarial Intern will participate as an active member of the team and will assist in project work related to creating and running actuarial programs, providing financial information and advice, and maintaining, enhancing, and developing programs and spreadsheets. The intern will also perform experience studies, interest-rate/dividend calculations, and company surveys. Gain exposure to a corporate business setting, senior leadership, and other actuarial professionals to directly impact the company. Solid customer service and communication skills are needed to be successful in this internship.
Requirements:
- Passed 1 or more actuarial exams (preferred but not required)
- Preferred degrees include Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field.
- Exposure to Access and Excel.
