Information Security Analyst Co-op

Responsibilities

• Perform daily security operations to monitor the environment.
• Develop and maintain documentation for security systems and operations.
• Perform system security administration on designated technology platforms, including operating systems, applications and security systems.
• Research, recommend, evaluate and implement information security solutions that identify and/or protect against potential threats, and respond to security violations.
• Participate in infrastructure projects to develop, plan and implement specifications for network and distributed security technologies.
• Regular and reliable attendance in the office is required.

Qualifications

• Full-time student pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree in information technology, information security or other similarly related field.
• Knowledge of basic concepts in networking, software development or information technology systems with some hands-on experience preferred.
• Interest in information security.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on building customer rapport and listening.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
