Mental Health Practitioner II - Early Childhood Day Treatment - Masters level

Responsibilities:
This position entails working as a member of the PASS day treatment mental health team to provide mental health day treatment services to preschool-aged children, in addition to providing diagnostic assessments, in-home skills & therapy, and Parent-Child play therapy. Training and professional development activities related to early childhood mental health are requirements.
  1. Carry psychotherapy caseload as defined by clinic, including day-treatment service provision
  2. Conduct diagnostic assessments 
  3. Develop and implement treatment plans
  4. Provide in-home and outpatient therapy
  5. Provide case coordination with family, supervisor, and other treatment team members to ensure comprehensive quality care and services
  6. Coordinate the referral process with county and school agencies
  7. Maintain all required documentation and records within established guidelines and deadlines
  8. Provide structure and clinical leadership for the preschool day treatment program

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Studies, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work or Psychology
  • Prefer at least 1-2 years providing early childhood education or services (daycare, pre-k, teaching, elementary, etc.) or children, adolescents, and family-based behavioral health services
  • Able to work across cultures, with clients from a culture different from one’s own
  • Valid driver's license required. Must meet state regulating agency driving requirements and pass corporate insurance eligibility standards
  • Educated on and compliant with HIPAA regulations; maintains strict confidentiality of patient and client information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and data entry
  • Knowledge of electronic health record systems to efficiently generate required reports preferred
