Position Summary:
The Clinical Program Coordinator is responsible for providing program coordination over the clinical therapy services program, in the treatment of children, adults, and families as prescribed in the client’s Diagnosis Assessment and Individual Treatment Plan. This individual is responsible for providing program coordination for the preschool mental health and day treatment programs while providing curriculum coordination, program problem solving, family communication, staffing management and program feedback for improvement.
Responsibilities:
Clinical Program Coordination:
- Plans day-to-day activities within the program to meet the goals of each client in the program while implementing and supporting structures for preschool mental health, day treatment for the therapeutic milieu.
- Strategizes and conducts day treatment therapy curriculum while overseeing the daily ‘skills’ treatment.
- Oversees daily staff check-ins and check-outs, while providing ongoing daily support for areas of problem solving, challenges or areas of opportunity that may arise; escalates challenges to Clinical Supervisor as needed.
- Serves as approachable and knowledgeable point of contact for families with children enrolled in the program; provides responsive and professional verbal and written communications to families with questions.
- Provisions Case Coordination with family members, school staff, community support and other professionals as required; completes clinical documentation in compliance with program expectations.
Required Education and Licensure:
- Minimum of master's or other graduate degree in one of the behavioral sciences, human services or related fields, from an accredited college or university.
- Must be on track to complete licensure for a specific, related discipline, or currently holds a provisional license for a specific track (e.g. LGSW, LAMFT or LPC).
- Knowledge of early childhood education or family-based philosophy and practice is required.
- Valid driver's license required and meets the state regulating agency and Corporate driving requirements.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Professional Licensure Preferred
- Prefer experience in related community-based work with early childhood programs, youth, and/or families
Expected Hours of Work:
Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, with the expectation to work specific schedules and hours as identified and communicated by management. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
