Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Environmental Compliance Intern, you will:
• Gain real-world experience on exciting projects
• Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs
• Apply standard engineering and science techniques to environmental compliance issues
• Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager
• Perform other duties as needed
• Responsibilities may include the preparation of air emission inventories, environmental permit applications, regulatory research, and groundwater data analysis.
• Additional responsibilities may include field data collection and/or mapping of environmental data, figure/graphic preparation, and GIS data analysis.
This position is for the summer of 2022
 

Qualifications

 Required Qualifications
• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science program
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture.
 
Preferred Qualifications
• Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
• Preference given to local candidates
