Gotta Go Gotta Throw is looking for a motivated person to join our team part-time. Learn the ropes of a small business in every aspect of accounting from A/P and A/R to payroll to sales tax, and cash flow. This is a great training ground for the right person to learn and grow with our company with potential for a full-time opportunity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accounting support to accounting supervisors or other managers within the department. This individual will track and research any accounting issues that arise. They will work closely with all internal business units to aid in their financial tracking.
Skills & Responsibilities:
• Assist accounting personnel
• Research, track, and resolve accounting problems
• Handle accounts payable & receivable duties including invoicing, deposits, collections & revenue
• Familiar with a wide range of financial transactions (Payroll, Sales Tax, Cash Flow)
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent data entry skills
• Able to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Organized & Familiar with spreadsheets
• Great interpersonal and customer service skills
• Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date-manner
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Math preferred or minimum 1 years of experience
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of GAAP
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and bookkeeping principles
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
