Play-by-Play Broadcast Intern (Summer 2022)
Broadcast Intern
Description of Responsibilities:
- Broadcast all 64 games throughout the season, including playoffs (If necessary)
- Travel and stay with the team on the road
- Compile daily stats for each position player and pitcher
- Work with Production Intern on broadcast content and material
- Plan and record daily pre and post game show
- Communicate and build relationships with players and coaches
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience calling a live game
- Must be a creative thinker with the ability to think of new, fun ways to enhance the production
- A in-depth understanding of the game of baseball
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Excellent communication skills
COMPENSATION:
- Monthly compensation
- Housing provided
Since the Sabre Dogs are not an accredited academic institution, we cannot offer academic credit to a student. Alternatively, we work with student interns and their institution to fulfill any requirements the student would need to receive academic credit. Our preference is to hire student interns that are concurrently enrolled in an academic internship program. To obtain credit hours for this internship position, candidates must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an academic internship course through their college or university that will run concurrently with this internship opportunity.
