Broadcast Production Intern
Description of Responsibilities:
- Operate the team streaming system during each home game
- Direct live production of camera angles and cue graphics during games
- Create and update graphics for each game
- Set up equipment and cameras before each game
- Compile daily stats for each position player and pitcher
- Work on production of pregame shows and podcast with Play-by-Play Broadcaster
- Write series recap articles and feature stories for the team website
- Other duties as assigned
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience directing a broadcast preferred but not required
- Must be a creative thinker with the ability to think of new, fun ways to enhance the production
- A understanding of baseball
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Excellent communication skills
COMPENSATION:
- Monthly compensation
- Housing provided
Since the Sabre Dogs are not an accredited academic institution, we cannot offer academic credit to a student. Alternatively, we work with student interns and their institution to fulfill any requirements the student would need to receive academic credit. Our preference is to hire student interns that are concurrently enrolled in an academic internship program. To obtain credit hours for this internship position, candidates must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an academic internship course through their college or university that will run concurrently with this internship opportunity.
