Communications Leadership Development Program - Summer Internship

Are you a strong storyteller who is able to think strategically and create compelling, engaging communications? Would you enjoy working on a small-but-mighty and fast-paced team? Are you looking for experience in all areas of communications – internal, employee, business, public relations and thought leadership? If you answered yes, then Cigna's Communications Leadership Development Program (CLDP) may be what you’re looking for!
The Communications Leadership Development Program begins as a 11 week summer internship designed for rising seniors to collaborate with communications leaders and learn from industry leaders and mentors. After the internship experience, select candidates will be offered a full-time role within the Communications team, which will begin after graduation.

There’s never a “typical” day on the Communications Team – and that’s part of the reason why working on our team is exciting! CLDP participants can expect to write internal stories for our company’s intranet, research issues for our thought leadership work, craft a post for our external Newsroom, or help our business and corporate communications teams craft talking points and speeches for events, videos, and other tactics.

CLDP Advantage for Summer Interns:
