Instructional Designer Internship

Responsibilities:
- Partners with training specialists, project team members, or business area to assist in conducting in-depth job task analysis and/or needs assessments to identify business goals, instructional objectives and determine training solutions.
- Assist Instructional Designers in developing design proposals outlining how proposed learning solutions will meet business goals.
- Learn and apply adult learning and instructional design theory to help design course plans and e-learning modules.
- Works collaboratively with Instructional Designers and training specialists to design and implement the training solution.
- Assist with assessment design to measure participant progress during and after training.
- Analyzes data to identify trends for management reporting and potential additional training needs
Requirements:
- Must be able to work full-time hours from late May to early August 2022
- The internship may be extended part-time into the fall semester; depending on the availability of the student, the needs of the company, and strong work performance
- Graduation date of December 2022 or beyond
- Pursuing a degree, preferably a Master’s degree, in Instructional Design, HR, Communications, Marketing or a related field
- Basic knowledge of training design
- Basic knowledge of learning styles/preferences
- Strong written/oral communication
- Familiarity with Articulate, Adobe, or other design software
