IT Intern - Application Development - Summer 2022
*NOTE* - This position will be located onsite at Gavilon's Corporate Headquarters in Omaha, NE.
Job Summary:
The IT Intern may serve on one or more of the following support teams depending upon skill set, current demands and career path: Application and Web Development. Additionally, individuals may specialize within these teams focusing on specific technologies.
Essential Job Functions:
- Experience with HTML5, Angular, C#, javascript, typescript, SQL
- RESTful API experience
- Design, develop, test, and deploy technology solutions to satisfy identified needs
- Ensure solutions are aligned with our technology roadmap and standards
Other Job Functions:
- Other responsibilities as assigned by IT Management
Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills:
- Pursuing a college degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Strong customer service ethic
- Able to work in a fast-paced, complex and dynamic environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Sense of ownership, driving resolution of issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects
Special Demands:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90% of the time
- Position requires operation of a computer and other standard office equipment, such as a copy machine, , computer printer and phone up to 90% of the time
- Frequently communicates with employees in the office and at remote locations
