Marketing Videographer & Photographer

Responsible and accountable for the development and completion of video-based content. The videographer plans projects collaboratively with internal customers, leads the execution of video shoots, shooting and editing original content. Drives projects forward by leading the execution of videography through all phases of production with efficient project management, proactive problem solving, and excellent communication. Accountable to ensure all projects meet the creative and strategic objectives, reflect the brand and are completed within defined budgets and deadlines.
Essential Job Functions
  • Think creatively and strategically
  • Determine equipment necessary for each job including cameras, lighting, and props
  • Develop studio schedules and project timelines that enable productive and efficient implementation of shoots including any pre-pros, set builds, shoot time, post-work and approvals.
  • Responsible for lighting and shooting a diverse range of high-quality content; maintaining video lighting; and naming, transferring, and storing media.
  • Create coherent and powerful content from available assets and deliver according to schedule
  • Participate in the implementation and execution of video projects, fostering collaboration and partnership through-out the process with internal and external partners
  • Independently troubleshoot solutions should a project fall off plan, demonstrating a solution-oriented approach to problem solving
  • Act as a brand advocate, ensuring that all marketing materials reflect brand character and meet established brand standards. Continually work to advance the brand through high-quality deliverables
  • Demonstrate excellence in project management skills including: on time completion; diligent budget management; efficient and proactive solicitation of input and approvals
  • Responsible for integrated planning across deliverables within a project resulting in efficient asset and content management and consistent messaging
  • Proactively solicit feedback on projects, evaluate success, and work to optimize current work and evolve future marketing projects
  • Participate in the on-going improvement of processes to improve marketing productivity
Education / Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-3 years of experience working in the field and in the studio
  • Solid portfolio* showcasing compelling production and post production abilities
  • Ability to travel, including some overnights (approximately 10% travel)
  • Basic knowledge of lighting set-ups and troubleshooting ability to resolve technical issues
  • Technical proficiency in Adobe Photoshop & Creative Suite
  • Passion for digital experiences and storytelling
  • An ability to follow industry trends and new technology
  • Ability to color grade footage using LUTs
  • Extensive knowledge of professional camera systems and settings
  • Basic understanding of post-production color correction/balancing
  • Ability to use sound recording equipment
  • Attention to detail
