Complex Digital Specialist, Mid-Atlantic

The Mid-Atlantic Complex was created by two premiere organizations with Equitable Advisors: The Philadelphia Branch located in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, and The Capital, which has offices throughout the DC metro region, the state of Maryland and the Commonwealth of Virginia. Led by Complex President Timothy Maguire, the Mid-Atlantic Complex has over 600 team members and covers almost 30% of the Eastern Coast of the United States.

The Digital Specialist Lead will work independently to support the sales organization with advisor support activities including trainings, meetings and seminars, complex communications, and other programs to ensure the complex is adequately supported. This team member will partner with the Equitable Headquarter Wealth Management Digital Team to ensure branch digital goals are being met and act as the go-to person for local branch digital support/future initiatives. Establishing a partnership with other complex roles is essential to the success since many tools and initiatives overlap; to include the Complex Marketing and Technology Managers. The core function of this role is to be a digital subject matter expert and primary digital resource for a large grouping of Equitable branches. A subject matter expert on all marketing/digital tools and platforms and will also support the digital onboarding process and training of all Financial Professionals.
Responsibilities included but not limited to:
  • Support the Complex as primary digital contact for branch digital roles through proper training, inquiry support, etc
  • Escalate technical and out of subject matter expert content issues to proper areas
  • Partner with Headquarter Digital teams to stay up to date and promote the most recent digital enhancements, initiatives, tools, etc
  • Attend all “Train the Trainer” sessions hosted by Equitable Headquarter Wealth Management Digital Teams
  • Communicate training, enhancements, changes, key points of interest pertaining to digital on a regular basis to the complex
  • The candidate will work together with other teams to meet digital adoption KPI’s and goals
  • Partner with Complex management to ensure digital onboarding process is up to date and supports Complex initiatives and goals
  • Partner with branches within the Complex to host regular digital training sessions to promote and train on the digital suite

Qualifications

 
Minimum Qualifications::
•   Bachelor’s degree preferred
•   2-3 years financial services industry experience
Preferred Qualifications:
•   Ability to travel between branches 
•   Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including MS Teams.
•   Well-versed in a variety of technology (Salesforce, PaperClip, DocuSign, Internal Portals, etc)
•   Ability to adapt to a changing environment quickly
•   Experience working in a training and support role
•  Effective public speaking ability
•   Ability to work in an independent and fast paced environment.
•   Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks 
•  Effective leadership skills
•   Advanced problem-solving skills
•  Ability to communicate and collaborate
•   Possible travel to other branch locations within the complex / Hybrid - work in office and remotely
